Piece that continued in the sky after fragmentation looked as if its trajectory shifted downward. Tail piece, as it fragmented, seemed to fragment with force and to move in the opposing direction before disappearing.

Appeared to split into two pieces as it peaked in brightness. The tail piece disappeared, the head piece continued to travel across the sky and beyond my view.
