Reports Report 1455e (Event 1455-2014)

Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was outside in my backyard looking at the sky with my 15 x 70 binoculars. No wind to speak of At 10:11, 10:30 and again a 10:33 I followed 3 most peculiar extremely bright naked eye red objects high in the southern sky around 70 degrees. They all tracked from west to east. First I thought they might be embers from fireworks but embers go out and do not track across the sky like a jet or satellite or rocket would. On the last sighting I used my 15 x 70's on it and followed it for about a minute. It looked round with a glow around it but no evidence of a trail. The closest thing I can think of is watching The Space Shuttles years ago when they tracked up the east coast but one of my Bucks Mont Astronomical Association friends says there were no Wallops launches. Have no idea what it was.
