Reports Report 1127ci (Event 1127-2014)

Observer
Name Shannon B
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks A fireball / meteor appeared on the eastern horizon and traveled from east to north west at what seemed a steady pace - slower than a typical "shooting star" and appeared to travel horizontally rather than falling. For comparison sake the meteor appeared brighter and larger than a planet. Was a white color with bluish green edges with a fairly pronounced comet like tail. It was very visible against the sky even though it was viewed over the city of Atlanta GA with lots of other lights. The meteor was very beautiful and impressive.
