| Remarks | Looking out my 8th floor window, white fireball appeared. First thought it was a fireworks, but then could immediately see it was very distant, higher up in the atmosphere. Fireball appeared from my vantage to be traveling due east as it came downward. Well before it reached the horizon it suddenly disappeared; it may have 'flamed out' some, but I didn't not see an explosion or trails. Never seen anything like it, thought it was significant enough that it would be reported newspaper/tv, but didn't see anything. |
