Experience Level 3/5
Remarks This was the most spectacular sight I have ever seen. I watch the Perseid every year for the past 14 years and nothing I have ever seen compares to this !!! I appeared in the mid-horizon out of nowhere. The light was so bright my husband was faced the opposite direction and saw the light behind me !!! It was like a miniature sun in the night sky ... I am in AWE. it appeared in the eastern sky ... the light didnt disappear until it was almost to the level of the horizon. I thought for sure I would hear something as it seemed that close. I am 55 and cant get over the feeling of actually seeing an image so awesome ...
