Remarks I did not see the object move past but I did look up after I heard the booms and may have glimpsed it before it disappeared behind my home. . At the time I heard the multiple booms there was no wind. Interestingly about 4 minutes after a strong series of gusts arose blowing from the east which is not the normal wind direction in Cobourg. I was working on cutting a branch off a tree while on a ladder . I climbed off the ladder because I felt unsafe in the gusts. I also recall a burned smell in the air at the time of the wind .. ozone perhaps ...but only for a minute or two while the wind passed through. Overall very unnerving.
