Remarks | The fireball appeared to fall straight down. It was the biggest and brightest fireball I've ever seen. It was bright white in color and yellow around the edges of the fireball. At first I thought it might be an airplane, but soon realized it was probably a meteor. It appeared to strike the ground nearby and I waited for a loud boom, but never heard anything. The entire episode lasted about 4 to 5 seconds. I was standing in front of my house looking directly to the south. |
