It was erratic and not a fixed trajectory. It changed slightly in elevation and moved at a slow pace (40mph). It was NOT a meteor. Given the viewing distance and size aspect, I'd say it was perhaps larger than a basketball. 3 of us all witnessed it and I followed it with binoculars until out of sight (10+ miles). No video :-( Weather: clear; winds: calm (0-5mph); temperature 47°F; moon not yet risen.
