| Remarks | Wow!! what a surprise! I was facing south, talking to a friend in my hot tub, so time is approximate, May have been a little later. It appeared high in sky out from behind trees that are due south (above Spencer's Butte) from me, in southwestern sky. Had small tail, was very bright white ball, looked bigger than almost any Ive ever seen, lasted a long time I said "Oh!" 3 times as it kept going behind tree branches and reappearing, falling down and to the right, till it disappeared behind the trees of my neighbors house right at their roof line.. which would be near due west..Very beautiful!
