| Remarks | The meteor lasted for approximately 3 seconds, traveling across the South-Southwest sky (heading roughly 200°). The duration was precisely verified because the event started and finished mid-sentence while I was speaking a name out loud on an active phone call. The object was exceptionally bright and highly visible over the local tree line despite ambient city light pollution. At the very end of its trajectory, it vanished and immediately exhibited a clear terminal flash / fragmentation pop with sparks. |
