Reports Report 4972j (Event 4972-2026)

Observer
Name Courtney A
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was outside of my apartment walking in north eastern direction (I believe) when I looked up and saw what looked like a large (size of a beach ball possibly) orange and red (middle may have been red with orange outline) fireball coming south to north and downwards direction. It had a long tail and was extremely bright. I don’t recall hearing anything during or afterwards. There was an orangish ring around the moon during and after fireball. The fireball was moving quickly and burned out (vanished) in a matter of a second or two!
