We were fishing on an inland lake and we both looked at this as it happened. Amazing. The fireball was very bright and sparking like an electrical fire and I figured a new Satellite crashed! I included what photo I took much later as reference to location. Once we saw it, it dropped straight down. There was no angle to it.
