Reports Report 4371x (Event 4371-2026)

Observer
Name Ashley J
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I witnessed this fireball from my home in North Dallas, looking out through my window. The object appeared very large, comparable to the apparent size of an airplane in the sky. It had a striking, bright blue-green color and left a highly distinct sparkling tail behind it, which clearly indicated fragmentation as it traveled. The meteor was heading in a steady southeast direction. I maintained visual contact with the streak until it eventually dropped too low in the sky and disappeared from view behind a local tree line. No sound or sonic boom was heard from my indoor location.
