| Remarks | The large, very bright object left no trail. It looked like a slightly oval, amber-coloured light bulb. We were looking towards the north-east; it came from behind us, shot straight ahead, but then climbed upwards into the sky, shrinking as it disappeared above a very thin veil of cloud. |
