Remarks I'm 61 years old, and although I've seen many "shooting stars" and satellites, this is a unique experience for me. It moved very fast and resembled a mini comet. I observed Haley's comet in 1986 from Pietermaritzburg in KZN south Africa.

Remarks It was like a shooting star only much larger, and brighter, and it got brighter as it streaked across the sky and then just before it disappeared it got extremely bright white
