Remarks Very bright Perseid fireball, magnitude -14, brighter than full moon. White core with light blue and light yellow tint. Appeared West 270° at 70° elevation, traveled horizontally to East 90°, disappeared at 60° elevation with terminal flash. Duration 2-3 seconds. No sound, no persistent train, no fragmentation. Illuminated ground like daylight despite full moon. Observer facing South. Clear sky conditions.
