Remarks |
I was in a moving vehicle during the observation, therefore I was unable to perceive any sounds.
The light appeared in front of me, just above the treetops, and moved at high speed before being obscured by a uniform cloud layer after a short time.
There was a uniform, diffuse cloud cover in which no distinct cloud structures were visually discernible. The clouds became briefly visible only due to the light source; otherwise, they were not perceptible to the naked eye.
To provide context for the visibility conditions: despite the cloud cover, a few very bright celestial objects (including Vega, Jupiter, and Arcturus) were faintly visible, indicating a diffuse, not fully opaque cloud layer.
The light was very bright and point-like, with no visible trail or searchlight beam.
I was able to observe the trajectory for approximately 2 seconds. |
