Reports Report 2610a (Event 2610-2026)

Observer

Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I live without any street lights or yard lights, 10 miles from town. I enjoy going out and lying on the picnic table when meteors may pass through. I was not aware we were entering a time of showers. I happened to go out some time after 2000 and saw a meteor nothing like I've gotten to see before. It was an enormous "ball", not linear. There was no time to holler for my husband; it quietly, brilliantly, fell below our eastern ridge. I hope I can read something about this in the coming days. My smile muscles are aching.
