| Remarks | I was facing due south at 1:18AM EDT when a brilliant white meteor fell from ~Leo Minor towards Spica. During its fall, the meteor rapidly intensified, growing to be brighter than Jupiter, until it developed a green, then pink hue before fizzling out. A white/grey vapor trail was visible during the fall but disappeared almost immediately after the meteor. |
