I would definitely appreciate someone reaching out and letting me know if this sounds like a meteorite/space debris or not. It was a pretty scary thing to hear, and even scarier to review my security footage and confirm it was definitely not a firework.

Concurrent Sound
Observation
Yes
Remarks
There was an initial boom, and then a loud whistling that sounded like a firework at first.
Delayed Sound
Observation
Yes
Remarks
There was a flash and then a gigantic explosion sound large enough to shake my house and set off car alarms. It was seen and heard as far as 3 miles away, according to Nextdoor posts. I am reporting my video to find out if any objects have been reported hitting the ground because that’s what it looked and sounded like.
