| Remarks | saw while stopped facing east at red light; extremely brilliant, phosphorescent green/orange/yellow, round fireball appeared in the sky to the southeast and "fell rapidly" in a quarter-circle-arc from 12 to 3 oclock; left to right in my field of vision; followed by a bright florescent green, thick/wide tail about 4 to 5 times as long as the width of the ball. After 5-6 seconds, the ball abruptly dissapeared as if falling into a black hole with the tail following immediately. No explosion, obvious disintegration, or sound. |
