Remarks Yesterday I witnessed a fireball that was bright and beautiful. I can best describe it as looking like a stick pin, with the head being larger and perfectly round. The tail extended behind it and was about three times as long as the head. Unlike the long streak I have always seen in photos. While in my sight he tail stayed compact and well-defined behind the ball. The head and tail remained nearly the same the entire time it was in my field of vision, and it did not appear to drop very much as it moved across the sky. It was the color of the sun, but it was not too bright to look at. I did not see anything fall from it, and I did not hear any sound. I feel blessed to have witnessed it. It was so beautiful that it scared me, and about five minutes later, around 4:45, I began calling ABC 13 and KBTX in Bryan.
