| Remarks | I initially thought it might be an airplane or drone because it lasted about 6 seconds and was extremely bright. It appeared slightly below overhead in the south-southwest and traveled downward toward just above the horizon. The color was orange-yellow and it looked like it was burning. At the end, it suddenly became brighter in a brief flash before disappearing, and a faint smoke-like trail remained visible. |
