Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 4s
Length 10°
Remarks Train was red orange yellow green (or green then yellow at the end). It didn’t appear to be a definite straight line..it seemed it slithered like a snakes tail.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks We thought it was bright headlights coming up the hill. A dozen of us were up all night camping on an open mountaintop ridge in Big Sur and the whole coastline was lit up from the fireball. Way brighter than a full moon but still viewable without being blinded.
Fragmentation
