Reports Report 1857a (Event 1857-2026)

Observer
Name Belinda T
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks When my son and I saw this meteor we were driving. We are in the Catskill mountains so it fell “behind” the mountain in a northern direction from where we were. It appeared it could have landed in the Lexington, Hunter/Tannersville NY area. It came almost straight down and fast but not as fast as a “shooting star” and it was still bright as it went down below the mountain range.
