Reports Report 1828ez (Event 1828-2026)

Observer
Name Joshua K
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was driving in traffic headed west at about 9:00 am ET and this large fireball suddenly appeared and streaked across the sky headed downward rapidly. I though it was going to hit somewhere and explode but I did not hear any sound or see an explosion. It lasted just a few seconds but it was long enough that I could see it well. It was red/orange with a little yellow. There were some clouds but mostly the sky was clear blue.
