Reports Report 1252n (Event 1252-2026)

Observer
Name Lauren W
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Was taking a long exposure of the night sky but didn't catch it. Unsure if fireball - fireworks were going on elsewhere in the city, but not near to where I was but this didn't look like a firework. First appeared as a shooting star a bit east of Jupiter and shot towards Ursa Major, became increasingly bright before disappearing (lost view of it over the fence). A plane (looked to be departing Southampton - possibly SSZ4?) was approaching the area of the sky where I saw it at the time.
