Remarks I was actually on a 5-mile walk. My eyes are always angled down at the sidewalk, especially when it's getting dark out. It was a bright enough to catch my eye. Looking up, to my right I saw a bright, beautiful golden glowing tubular "shooting star," that had noticeable long, 3D tubular shape. It stretched nearly across the whole overhead sky, to my right, essentially parallel to the path I was walking. It didn't last long enough for.me to grab my cellphone and take a photo, but it did last long enough for to think about it, and to hope that I wouldn't witness another Tanguska-sized explosion at the end. I didn't think to listen for a sonic boom.
