I was walking my dog and turned and saw a bright, almost sparkler-looking object dropping at an angle towards the horizon before view was obstructed by houses. Brighter than any meteor I've seen before so it's possible it was satellite reentry. I don't know how long it was visible or how high it first appeared since I didn't see it until I turned around.
