| Remarks | Was traveling westbound down US-30 in Iowa when I saw this right ahead of me in the sky above the road. I thought it was crazy and I heard there was a meteor shower tonight but when I looked it up, it was in the southern hemisphere. So I was confused what I saw, and then I came across a picture of a fireball and it matched perfectly both visually and temporally. I am a meteorology student, and I don’t do astronomy stuff very often, but this certainly caught my eye. |
