| Remarks | At first I thought it was a meteor which is strange due to light cloud cover and brightening sky. But at maybe 15 degrees above horizon it was very bright, no trail, no shimmer and it appeared to go between me and the clouds. So it seemed to be local (near Orillia) Never seen anything like this and I've seen big bright meteors at night. This was much brighter like the rising sun off a mirror. I have picture of the sky and clouds but didn't upload since it was a few minutes after. It's a cool way to finish 2025. |
