Remarks I was heading south and I looked towards the east and it was on a southern trajectory but aiming towards the earth and it was hauling ass, big time! I am familiar with jets afterburner, and rockets and it was brighter and faster than anything i had witnesed in my 49 years. This was the most incredible thing I had ever seen. Reason being, it was so big looking that I drove to where it looked like it was going to land. It almost looked like a ballastic missile but logic but stubbier and wider. Logic told me that if it was as big as it looked and hit the ground, it would have been catastrophic. But to think that it was coming through the atmosphere and looked that big from where i was, it had to be a huge meteor or space junk. The Geminid meteor shower was at its peak tonight, and ive seen plenty of meteor showers, but as God is my witness, this was by far the most incredible thing I had ever seen falling from the heavens.
