Reports Report 9734a (Event 9734-2025)

Observer
Name John T
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was driving northwest on US Hwy. 27, out of Pine Mountain, GA when I saw a quick flare up in the sky directly ahead of me. It was a muted green in color, almost whitewashed. The edges did not seem very "sharp" like the only other event like this I've witnessed. They seemed almost fuzzy or blurry. It was elevated in such a way that I didn't have to crane my neck to see above my normal field of vision. It traveled left to right and seemed to last much longer than a normal meteoroid. Since the Geminids are peaking tonight (12/13/25), I hesitate to report it. I stated in the questions that I have no experience in astronomy, but I do follow most of the meteor showers and other celestial events, but I have no formal training.
