The item was glowing a hot blue/green color with an orange/yellow tail. We have a local med helicopter and at first I thought it was it as the size was very similar, but once I got in the open the color was a hot blue/green color and it was clear it wasn't the helicopter. The trajectory of the object was traveling from the south headed north/northwest but the angle was with a slight tilt towards the ground.

the tail was a glowing orange/yellow that was solid at first and then it began to look like sparks coming off with spaces in between like ***** space******space****************************** until the object broke up and glowed orange as it quickly all went to black

The main object was about the size of a helicopter body with a tail behind - the tail started to look like sparks flying off and then the object broke apart in several pieces like it was headed toward the ground at a slight angle and then everything quickly went black
