I was sitting inside looking out of my north facing window talking on the phone and mentioned it to the person I was talking to. They called back about an hour or so later to tell me it was on the news as a possible meteor sighting. I cannot be sure of the measurements since I have no experience in astronomy but answered the questions to the best of my ability. Also, there is a roof over my front porch that blocks part of my view of the sky.
