It was the brightest meteor I have ever seen. No trailing embers. Fast. Came straight down like 90 degrees downward. No sounds. Bright flash at the end. No reports of damage or fires.

Remarks
The meteor fell behind a hilltop in the southern direction from my street. It ended with a bright flash coming from the center to both sides as I was looking at it. It disappeared beyond the hilltop. I thought there would be an explosion or forest fire but I heard and saw nothing. It was quiet.
