There was also an extremely bright full moon tonight (one of the brightest I've seen) so my experience of the brightness of the meteor may have been affected by that |

| Remarks | First appeared as three lights in extremely close proximity (though separate enough that I could distinguish three points). Near the end of its journey, approximately 80% of the total distance, these fragmented into many more lights that quickly dissipated. There were under a dozen total fragments, and each was much dimmer and more orange/brown coloured |
