| Remarks | I was just taking the dogs out, we live in an area with an unfortunately high amount of light pollution so I can usually barely stargaze. As soon as my eyes tracked movement in my periphery I looked up and saw a bright flame shoot down and Over and then disappear. It was the brightest thing in the sky for a few brief seconds as I watched it. I told my husband I saw a shooting star and he asked if I was sure, I told him unless a plane got shot down and magically burned up before landing- yes. I didn’t know fireballs were a thing but it explains why I was able to see it when normal meteor showers are hard to see! |
