| Remarks | I just so happened to turn around and saw it, so I don’t know how far up it really started. Additionally, for me, it disappeared behind the trees surrounding the observatory so I didn’t see how far it went fully either. I was facing almost exactly due west at roughly 8:30pm. It was incredibly bright and very large though, for the couple seconds I saw it. I think there was a slight smoke trail left behind but with the full moon it was hard to see things in the sky. |
