There have been a lot of fireworks in this area lately, I see them daily from my window. This looked totally different, there were no fireworks happening when I saw it and I am sure it was not a firework.

A bright object disintegrating like it was coming up against friction. A bigger object leading the way and smaller fragments following. It built to a brighter light before fading quickly
