Reports Report 8097ai (Event 8097-2025)

Observer
Name Clay H
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This extraordinary fireball was witnessed by dozens of people with me. My exercise group was finishing just at dawn. As we walked to our cars this bright object came into view in over the NNW horizon. At first we thought it might be an aircraft or launched rocket. The speed and direction (N to S) soon showed it couldn’t be either of those. As it broke apart toward the mid and Southern part of the flight it became clear that it must have been a meteor.
