Reports Report 8063b (Event 8063-2025)

Observer
Name Eric B
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I never thought that I'd see another meteor within a week of another... but heck, here it was! It's hard to say how bright the meteor was as I was wearing my motorcycle helmet with a daytime smoke face shield on it (don't ask), but if I were to compare it to something else at night in terms of brightness with the face shield on, I'd say it was comparable to the full moon (I normally can't see stars with it). It was a long-streaking meteor with a tail... appearing in my sight for approximately three to four seconds long and heading due south. Pretty high up too -- nearly overhead when I first saw it. What a sight -- pretty darned cool again!
