Reports Report 7919ds (Event 7919-2025)

Observer
Name Weston H
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks It was absolutely spectacular. Unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The initial burst of light caused me to flinch/recoil. It all happened right above my head in the sky. It seemed to be traveling in a North, slightly Northwest direction from my vantage. I was facing roughly to the south, it began in my front left field of vision and finished behind me and to my right (but like I said it was generally directly above my head).

Remarks Glowing orange train. The way I’ve described it to others is it look like the sky had been cut open with a knife with the cut edges being orange. The whole thing was directly over my head. No horizon involvement.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks The night sky lit up like daytime and when I looked up I saw the glowing orange trail. I thought it was a gigantic crack or lightning or a huge explosion
