Reports Report 7712j (Event 7712-2025)

Observer
Name Kassandra J
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks The object resembled a meteor but moved slowly enough to track with the naked eye across the sky and seemed bigger and brighter than what you typically see in a split second observation of a meteor. It glowed white and orange and visibly fragmented. The object moved west to east and didn't disappear but rather went out of my range of sight due to the obstruction of the house. I took a step back to watch it as far as i could and it showed no signs of disappearing but instead seemed to just continue onward. I believe it looked more like an object entering the atmosphere as opposed to a meteor but was still similar to a meteor in its linear movement and tail. THE TIME OF THE SIGHTING IS APPROXIMATE but definitely occurred shortly after 7 pm MST.
