| Remarks | I was driving on an overpass when I saw it, I was moving at maype 30 mph when I saw it. It appeared to have happened in the direction of a construction site past the West Falls Church Metro Station. It appeared to happen maybe 10 degrees over a crane at the construction site. It started as one bright ball then broke into three of the same color. There was not a trail after the fireball disappeared, not sure if there was a trail while the fireball was visible. Sorry I don't have better details to provide. I would describe it as a little darker than the color of the middle of a flame of a Bic Lighter, not the blue base of the flame right near the ignition but above that. |

| Remarks | It maybe lasted a little over a second shooting across a small portion of the sky than broke into three pieces. The pieces were the same color as it was when it was whole. It very quickly disappeared once it broke apart. |
