| Remarks | The first I saw was bright and I thought it was spotlights on the front of a commercial jet and wings. It seemed pointed right at me with the wings banked to go from my right to my left. It grew larger, seeming to come towards me. I was trying to figure out which way to run so I didn't get hit with the plane crash. That's when I saw brighter spots emerging and proceeding across the sky toward my right. I understood that I wasn't seeing a banking plane with wings, it was an explosion in progress. As the bright fragments exited the cloud of yellow and orange dots, the cloud faded and at least a half dozen, possibly more than 12 bright fragments continued leaving a trail behind that faded. The angle started up but arced and so angled back down across the sky and I lost sight with bushes behind me (my horizon) |
