Object traveled from N to S almost directly overhead, and was bright enough that it illuminated the cloud layer from within as it passed over/through it. Estimated cloud deck altitude between 3k-6k feet AGL. Object was followed very beiefly (0.5-1sec) by a laser straight green trail.
