I watch the sky in the early am daily when weather permits. This was the first green fireball I have ever seen. I took a compass heading of my exact placement when I saw it. My compass said 48 degree NE but that was where it ended. I was standing at 27degrees44'22'N 82 degrees42'21'W

Remarks
It looked like it was breaking apart from behind. Almost like a rocket breaks apart but that was not the direction of NASA. I had time to tell my husband to turn and look and he saw it also. It persisted. At first I thought it was a large aircraft because it was so green, then it was streaking so fast and broke apart.
