| Remarks | Passed rapidly West to East while facing North, tracked it for at least a couple seconds, large fairly bright Orange yellow with decent length tail; lost it briefly in cloud cover (moon was rising in Northeast in partly cloudy conditions) saw that it continued; while looking East towards Berkeley, saw an impressive green flash illuminate the clouds to the east at my Eastern horizon which was blocked by nearby ridge line at Enchanted Knolls area of Mill Valley. Strong impression that it either air exploded East of the East Bay or perhaps impact landed somewhere in Central Valley(?) Maybe it got to foothills of the Sierras? Maybe farther? As I heard no noise, at all. No chance to see fragmentation due to ridge line & cloud cover low to horizon to the East. |
