I was in Hackey East London around 8:10 - 8:30pm on Oct 7 and I saw a fireball with a red halo, high in the sky. It was oval shaped with blurred edges and wider at the front. It lasted around 3 seconds. It may have been there longer. I looked up and there it was. I turned to tell my friend to look at it and it was gone. I couldn't understand how it could vanish so quickly. I'm not exactly sure what street we were on. I wasn't sure what I had seen until I read about it in the papers the next day.
